I believe the most important thing about Westminster is that you never need to sacrifice one passion for another. The staff and faculty at this school are extremely flexible and understanding to students who have several extracurricular activities. I have been involved in planning Warrior Week, and have served on mission trips to an orphanage in the Dominican Republic.

Westminster has encouraged the growth of my spiritual life by allowing me to explore various aspects of the Christian faith through Bible classes. The one thing that makes Westminster stand out from other schools is the overwhelming sense of community. In every hallway and classroom, you are bound to run into a familiar face. Student life events like Homecoming Week facilitate a bond between every student.

This upcoming year will be my 14th year at Westminster, and I have truly loved every second. I volunteer at the Abuelos Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to help the elderly community in Miami. I also partner with Genesis Hopeful Haven, which focuses on providing foster girls with a “big sister.” It was not until my sophomore year that I truly let the Lord guide my life. Westminster does a phenomenal job providing the foundation for students to understand the meaning of what Christ has done, and how he wants a relationship with us. I love how we can freely worship Jesus. I thank this school for loving me, supporting me, and for lifelong friendships.

Before attending Westminster, I did not attend a faith-based school. Learning about Christianity was something I did at home and independently. At Westminster, I had the opportunity to ask my teachers questions about Jesus. We can discuss the journey of living as a Christian teen with peers who are experiencing the same thing. This environment helped me grow closer to Jesus and become more confident in my faith.

Westminster has truly been the best four years of my life. The fun activities and welcoming environment have made my time here unforgettable. I have made memories and friends that I will have for the rest of my life. Westminster has a community like no other school in Miami. Westminster truly feels like a family.

Having a curriculum based on our faith helps us grow closer because we are on the same journey. This shared faith brings us together to support and uplift one another. Especially when students are going through challenging times.

I regret not coming to Westminster sooner. I love my school and love being able to praise God in chapel every Tuesday and speak about God in our classes and cabin time. I am blessed to have an opportunity to be surrounded with people who love Jesus as much as I do.

I am involved with Chapel Management and get to work with Mr. Bishop and my team to organize both middle and high school chapel. I also work with Caring for Chemo that raises money for care packages for people who are going through chemotherapy. My relationship with God has grown exponentially and I thank God every day that I am able to be in an environment where my faith can grow.

Since attending Westminster, I have grown spiritually by being surrounded by like-minded people who want to glorify God. Participating in cabin time after chapel has given me the opportunity to hear from peers who want to grow closer to Jesus. Also, Warrior Week has been a huge part of my spiritual formation due to the amazing sermons as well as the worship services with "We The Kingdom."

The relationships developed with teachers and coaches at Westminster are like no other school, and they constantly want to see you succeed. Westminster has a high level of academic excellence with highly qualified teachers. Westminster is different from other schools because of the community inside of the school. Smaller class sizes allow for more collaboration and connections in between different groups creating a tight knit community of Westminster students. Our teachers care about us and go above and beyond to support us.

My faith is thanks to what I have learned at Westminster. Elementary school taught me about my faith and the stories behind it, while middle school taught me how to implement it, and in high school I have used my faith to guide my decisions.

Westminster Christian is unique because of the care and love from the faculty for their students. The teachers at Westminster truly want the best for their students and want us to thrive. My teachers have impacted me from a very young age and have made me the person I am today. The faculty here holds a very special place in my heart forever.

Westminster is also unique because of the presence of God on the campus. While attending sporting events at other schools, I realized what makes Westminster so special. The presence of God truly surrounds the campus.
