Westminster Fine Arts

The Westminster Fine Arts program nurtures and develops creative and artistic expression that complements critical thinking and academic skills.

At Westminster, students explore the arts and develop their God-given gifts and talents through the following disciplines: band, choir, dance, orchestra, production, theatre, and visual arts. The Fine Arts curriculum is offered to students from preschool through grade 12, with focused instruction beginning in fourth grade, and has garnered a reputation of excellence and brilliance.

As part of Westminster's mission to develop young hearts with a passion for God, the Fine Arts program is dedicated to propelling students to use the arts as forms of worship, service and thanksgiving. By allowing creativity to flow from a place of deep spiritual connection with God, students are enlightened by the many ways that artistic talent can both honor God and deepen their faith.

Fine Arts played a huge role in shaping me into the person I am today. Theatre and band both taught me important life skills such as communication and teamwork. Not only did I learn valuable lessons, but I also had a lot of fun in these programs. My most memorable times in Fine Arts were the amazing band trip and the opportunity to play the role of The Baker in the 2024 production of "Into the Woods."
