If you haven't already, come by the elementary school foyer and see the beautiful tree Mrs. Heetderks and our students created! Ask your child what the most important part of the tree is . . . it's the ROOTS! We learned trees grow and thrive through their roots. And we are the same way! This week in chapel we learned about faith habits. These are good habits that will help you grow and thrive and live more like Jesus. These habits help you get close to God! Four faith habits that we focused on were prayer, reading the Bible, worshipping and being grateful for what God has given us, and fellowshipping with those who love Jesus. We encouraged students to engage in these four habits every day. You can also encourage your child at home to develop good faith habits so that they can grow strong roots and be more like Jesus every day.
