  • How do I register for the test?

Once you submit an application to Westminster and the admission office processes the application, you will have access to a digital checklist. On that checklist, you will be able to select your preferred test date in order to receive instructions on how to register directly with ISEE. Please note that only candidates applying to Westminster are able to take the admission test on-campus.
  • Does it matter where I take the test?

No, you may take the test at any test center or at home. ISEE will be able to assist you in finding a test date and location. Please make sure that you designate Westminster Christian School as a recipient by entering our School Code 571054.
  • How long will the test take?

ISEE Lower Level is for students who are candidates for Grade 6, and this test will take 140 minutes. ISEE Middle and Upper levels are for candidates who are applicants for Grades 7-11 and this test will take 160 minutes. We will also administer a Bible Knowledge Proficiency test. The total test time is approximately 3 hours.
  • How can I prepare for the test?

The best way to prepare for the test is to review the “What to Expect on the ISEE” section of the www.iseetest.org website.  This site will review test-taking strategies and provide online practice questions.
  • How will my scores be reported to the schools?

At the time of registration, you may designate schools to receive your scores. This service is included in the registration fee. Please enter the Westminster's code (571054) to have your scores sent to Westminster. Scores will be sent to both the school and the parent three to five days after taking the online test.
  • My child has an accommodation to receive extended time on exams. How is this handled?

To receive accommodations for an ISEE Admission test, please contact ISEE directly for a list of available facilities. Please note that ISEE requires approximately five weeks to review and approve all accommodation requests.

Students requesting ISEE accommodations will submit the required paperwork to ERB for review/approval at least five weeks in advance of a test date.  ERB will require a copy of the supporting documentation which details the specific accommodation (Psychoeducational report, IEP, etc. dated within the past three years).

Please contact ISEE to request accommodation approval. ISEE will then email the family with further instructions required for them to review and approve the accommodation for the admission test. Once approved, ISEE will assist the family in locating a test site that offers the test with accommodations.
  • What should I do if I need to cancel my test date?

You may request to reschedule or cancel by calling the ISEE Operations Office at 1-800-446-0320. A cancelation fee may be assessed. There is no refund if you cancel on or after the test date.
