The woods and open spaces were my playground as a child in the rural areas of Ontario, Canada. My friends were my seven brothers and four sisters. Dad and Mom were immigrants from the Netherlands. They surrounded us with love and taught us to walk in the Light of God's Word. During my educational studies I met Neal, my dear husband. We were missionaries to the Dominican Republic for twelve and a half years. While living there we were blessed with three wonderful children, Jonathan, Katrina, and Melinda. Katrina and Melinda are graduates of WCS. My parents taught me to follow my dreams. I loved school. So obtaining four degrees was a joy. Teaching is an extension of my desire to learn more. It is an honor to be part of the Westminster teaching staff.
