I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and spent my youth on the sandlot playing sports, and in a sixteen-foot aluminum boat trolling for snook. I attended the University of Miami and received a Bachelor of Science degree in education. During my graduate work I had the opportunity to do my internship with the Miami Dolphins, where I assisted the team’s traveling secretary on road trips and processed contracts for the new Joe Robbie stadium. After receiving a Master of Science Degree in Education/Sports Management I was hired by the Miami Heat. During my 10 years in the Heat organization, I served many roles including Director of Merchandising and Retail Operations. God then traded me (along with a first round pick) to Westminster Christian School. I am now in my eleventh year in the Middle School. I truly do feel led by God to this blessed educational institution. God’s amazing grace is evident through the love and dedication of the faculty/staff, administration, and families here at W.C.S. I do not see middle school students as a challenge, but as an opportunity. “We must remember that intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education,” said the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. It has been a true pleasure to teach biblical principles and instill discipline into a teenager’s life during these exciting middle school years. I have served as Chairman of the SACS School Improvement Team, and have also served on the Conduct and Health, and Salary Committee. I still enjoy playing sports and fishing along with reading South Florida mystery novels. I have a wonderful wife, Lisa to share my love, a son Spencer (15) and a daughter Lily (11).
